Blaze’s Tribute Equine Rescue, Inc. is hosting its 6th Annual Ride to the Rescue Trainer’s Challenge. This event will highlight 16 of Blaze’s rescued horses and 16 wonderful trainers which will be competing in our trainer’s challenge. Trainers will have 130 days to train their rescue horse into a well-mannered riding partner. Trainer and horse teams will strut their stuff on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at the Heart of Oklahoma Exposition Center in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Don’t miss this heartwarming event! Experience first-hand Blaze’s rescue horses overcoming life’s toughest challenges of abuse and neglect. Blaze’s Ride to the Rescue Trainer’s Challenge helps these rescue horses to defy the odds, to thrive and to succeed with a second chance in life. Horses once without hope, develop trusting relationships and transformed into loyal partners.
Applications for adoptions will need to be submitted and the horses will be auctioned immediately following the competition. Bring the family and support your local trainers while helping our rescue horses.
Trainers will post updates to this event page so you can watch them take their horse through the training process. Spectators are welcome. Donations accepted at the door.
Doors open at 8:30am and the event starts at 10:00am.
