The noble calling of those whose lives are dedicated to providing safety, compassion, nurturing and healing. We love to hear their stories, and even more, we love to share them. Their stories provide us with hope in a world where the media would like to impress upon us how bleak our times have become, that humanity may indeed be lost. Those who provide shelter and peace to these countless gentle souls are a beacon to us all, a testimony that loves exists. Due to these many shepherds of horses, we are assured that beauty has a place of refuge, that magnificence has a home, that innocence can close its eyes and bask in green pastures without fear, without harm, neglect or torture.
