Our main feature in the August issue of We Ride brings us back in time to the Old West. Photographer and writer Ozana Sturgeon takes us to the “End of Trail Mounted Shooting World Championship” at the premier shooting facility, Founders Ranch in the heart of New Mexico. Our nonprofit feature of the month is H.O.R.S.E. of Connecticut. This rescue not only saves animals in need but has a number of unique programs including an extensive public education program with a network of equine professionals donating their time and expertise to aid in their mission and their therapeutic program for the elderly visiting nursing facilities with their horses.
